I've succumbed...

After carefully weighing the risks associated with blogging (the most prominent of which is the fact that Jonny will tease me mercilessly), I've decided to have a go at it. After all, if Val can succumb to Facebook, I can succumb to blogging, right? Actually, my true purpose is to spare you poor souls who have, until now, been subject to my random mass emailings. Now you can choose to either get all your info from here, complete with pictures, or just ignore me entirely. No more forcing you to read all about our "exciting" lives. This is not to say that I will never email anyone again--my biggest qualm with blogging is the tendency to email people and say "Here's my blog--everything I want to tell you is already there." So please, feel free to criticize me if I ever send you that email. In the meantime, I'll try to keep this both updated and amusing.
