Elise in March

 A very Elise picture:
Hanging from her gymnastics bar,
showing off the bag she sewed in sewing class.

With Catherine's clarinet upgrade, guess who got Catherine/Grandma's old clarinet?
Perfect timing since band starts in 4th grade!

Another very Elise picture:
Dance pose with her new clarinet.

Never a dull day with Lady Elise around!

Catherine in March

Catherine (and Seth, but I didn't get any pictures) attended a stake youth service activity:
Not quite sure what they were making?
"Bracelets for military people" says Seth.

At the same time/place, the Relief Society was making quilts for a service project.
Catherine and friends got roped into holding one up for a picture:

A very Catherine thing to do: randomly make cookies

Catherine's clarinet teacher, Ms. Jamie, found someone selling a fancier clarinet. Catherine has worked so hard that's she's ready to move up to a better instrument! She was SO happy with the sound from her her clarinet. And apparently so was Seth:

Assorted March

Aaron wanted to make a Swiss cake roll.
Homeschooling is great for stuff like this.

Apparently March was a great time for trampoline selfies:

March is also great for eating ice cream on the driveway:
Hooray for warmer weather!

Shopping...

I can't remember how they conned me into this,
but these two got to go shopping at the Towson Town Center Mall.
So, so many little smelly things.
Why is this always the favorite store.

A very happy shopping Catherine:

From smelly things to makeup:

Happy shopping sisters, spending all their money:

Seth in March

Seth had a pretty exciting March!

It began with the official driving permit arriving in the mail:

Happy to be lost in the woods with Blue Steel Gabe:

Seth got to put on the whole armor of God during seminary one morning:

Seth trying out Eric's glasses during track one afternoon:

And wearing Sarah's Viking helmet another day:
So much beauty all in one boy.

Church Prom

With a little bit of persuasion (and the promise that I would pay for his dinner), Seth consented to attend church prom. We ended up getting a big group together for pictures and dinner before the dance, which was really fun.

Posing with Bente's fancy convertible

There was some seriously bright sunshine we had to fight to get pictures!

Dinner before the dance

Apparently the dance was a fever dream?
I love everything about this shot.

Post-dance parking lot picture

I got to be one of the drivers and enjoy the craziness of these kids. I loved the music choices and the conversation topics. All the kids in my van (minus Benjamin, who actually didn't object too strongly) said they're in for going next year. I'm holding them to it!

Snuggle Puppy

Little Snuggle Puppy in his favorite spot: my lap

Elijah doing some deep-sea diving in the bathtub:

We went for a walk.
It didn't go well:
It's hard to be five sometimes

Elijah love to make his own games for us to play:
Usually the rules are incredibly hard to follow and take three hours to explain.

Elijah is a math kid like many of his siblings before him.
He made me print him a 100s chart for him to look at:

What else could you want from life?

We were also visited by a terrifying Minecraft zombie one evening:

We love our Puppy Darling so much!
