Aaron's birthday morning was bright and sunny.
So sunny, in fact, that he was apparently incapable of opening his eyes for any pictures.
For his birthday cake he requested dirt cake with worms and "strawberries and raspberries and blueberries and oranges and cookies and sprinkles." He got exactly what he wanted--minus the oranges.
Making the cake was half the fun! And 90% of the mess!
He was very deliberate in his placement of the fruit and sprinkles. I was quite shocked when his definition of "lots and lots of sprinkles" ended up being approximately 1 tablespoon's worth.
After much anticipation, it was time for the singing!
After he blew out the candles, he was officially FIVE YEARS OLD!
