We actually bought all these tickets in February of 2020, but then Covid happened and theme parks were not a good choice. Thankfully both parks were awesome and honored our tickets for 2021 instead. First up was Seth's birthday present--a trip to Hershey Park with Dad, Catherine and Gabe!
It was a thrilling day at Hershey, watching Gabe read a book.
Or we forgot to check what time it opened and picked up Gabe way too early.
Eventually they did make it to Hershey!
It was Catherine's first time and she was not thrilled.
I finally told her she had to go on at least 8 different rides or she owed me the ticket cost.
This was on the log ride, and it appears she's actually having fun:
(Pennsylvania was requiring masks even outdoors still.
Super fun in heat and humidity).
Great carousel posture:
No pictures of Seth and/or Gabe, who were off roaming the park together.
They had a blast! Catherine said she'd have preferred Dutch Wonderland.
Speaking of Dutch Wonderland...
Jon got to take the two smaller people a week or two later!
Aaron and Elise on the giant swing.
Carousel Aaron.
Carousel Elise.
Also proof that Jon needs a new phone.
That's no filter--just a crappy cell camera.
Enjoying dinner at a restaurant after.
They look forward to this almost as much as Dutch Wonderland itself!
Nice to be able to check 'theme park visit' off our summer bucket list again!
