We actually got some snow this year!
The kids are sure that we're overdue for a blizzard.

Our Christmas gift to Elise this year was ballet/tap classes!
She's been begging for years, but Covid wreaked havoc on everything.
But she's fully vaccinated now, so here we go!
While we were driving to her first class, I asked if she was excited. "Umm...yes. But kind of scared. Like nerve-cited." Apparently she learned that word from My Little Pony. Go figure. She was worried that her bun wasn't right, that she wouldn't know anyone in the class, and that her teacher wouldn't like her skirt. Thankfully she ended up loving it!
She says tap is her favorite class, which surprised me.
Elise and Catherine went to hang out with the Uhligs one afternoon.
Apparently the Uhligs were doing demolition work and invited the girls to join in:
"Are you seriously letting me do this??"

Other than that, we're just trying to survive the winter doldrums however we can.
