Dec. 2, 2016: Cutest gift under the tree
I feel like you've changed so much this month! You've gone from creeping and rocking to full on crawling. And not just crawling--you're pulling up on things and starting to take on the stairs. Soon nothing will be safe anymore!
Dec. 19, 2016: The (one) Stair Master
We are working very hard at mastering the art of drinking from a straw. It would make all of us so much happier if you could get a drink by yourself.
You've discovered the greatest form of baby entertainment: playing in the dishwasher. You have a particular love for very sharp knives:

"I am very cute and innocent and had nothing to do with that steak knife on the floor."
"Just need to...get this...one thing..."
A very helpful baby
Lots and lots of babbling. Our favorite is all your silent babbling: you'll just mouth the sounds but make no noise. It's hilarious. We're working on getting you to say "light". So far all you do is point to the light and babble or squeal.
Not much growing happening--still wearing all the same clothes and diapers. At your (late) nine month appointment, you were 16 lbs. 15 oz. and 29 inches. It was a big drop for you, but I'm not worried. Your sister did the same thing.
Dec. 4, 2016: Still rocking the long hairs in the back
Also, an awful runny nose
Dec. 1, 2016: "Last night's French Dip sandwich leftovers?
Don't mind if I do!"
Dec. 8, 2016: Aaron's rejected egg yolk at the Under The Table Cafe
We love hearing you "sing". Your shrieks are my favorite thing.
Your favorite toy in the entire world is toilet bolt covers. You make a mad dash for the toilet whenever someone opens the bathroom door. So. Gross.
Dec. 17, 2016: You are a disgusting child
You are a mover, mover, mover. I took you to the doctor for a mysterious rash (hives, apparently, but who knows why?). I was holding you in my arms as she asked questions and you were writhing all around, trying to get on the ground to crawl, or grab things off the wall, or claw at my face. The pediatrician was quite impressed.
Dec. 12, 2016: Investigating the Pantry of Wonders
Dec. 14, 2016: Climbing in the tub is super fun and totally not a great way to get injured.
Still a big fan of sampling every tiny piece of lint or Lego you come across.
You're getting better at making your wishes known. You'll lunge for your cup, or squirm to be put down. You'll also shove Aaron away when he's pestering you too much.
You love your Daddy. As soon as he gets home you arch your back and try to jump into his arms. If he's around, you tend to be wherever he is. Even if he's doing something that would be a lot easier without Elise assistance. Like cleaning the rug:

I have loved seeing more of your personality showing up this month! We sure love you, Little Bug!
