Catherine's YW class decided to host a pinewood derby for all the YW. We spent a few activities making plans, getting cars put together, and painting. And then it was finally time for the big night!

She put a minimal effort into her car, then painted it black and red:

Shockingly, she ended up winning second place!
She was being a stinker and glaring at my camera so Sis. Anderson swooped in for a forced smile:

We're claiming that she actually took first since the girl who won didn't even make her car.
She just borrowed one of the extras that another leader brought in.
Bonus activity: making and planting a raised bed!
That dirt/compost smelled like manure.
I was more than happy to stick to the power tool use and let them touch the poo dirt.
