The Nativity

My favorite part of Christmas is the Christmas Eve traditions, especially the Nativity reenactment. I can't say that ours was very (as in "not at all") reverent, but it was done with much love!
Joseph's parents get him ready for his journey to Bethlehem

Grandpa Russell "runs and runs" with the toddlers to keep them out of chaos

Why, Joseph! What a large pacifier you have!

Baby Jesus was a huge fan of the sheep

Ah, the Christmas Eve temper tantrum.
Another family tradition.

Luckily the biggest shepherd was there to calm down the smallest shepherd.

The angel was pretty sure the sheep belonged to her.

Mary and Joseph head to Bethlehem

The angel announces Jesus' birth to the shepherds and proceeds to confiscate all their sheep.

A happy wise man with his grandpa, the shepherd.
And Aaron, who was not a fan of anything. At all.

Baby Jesus was so done with this whole "stay in the manger" thing.

The cast of the Nativity

Adoring the baby in the manger.
He is very, very adorable.
