Just for Fun

One time, we got Hand, Foot & Mouth disease and banished ourselves from interaction with other humans for a week (including Seth's co-op). So we did our own science activity: a nature scavenger hunt!

Off to the edge of the woods they go with their nets!

And guess what we found? 

We are now the proud owners of TWO Catherine the Caterpillars.

Or, we were, until one escaped when left out unsupervised and Mom let the other one go before it suffered a fate worse than death.
