Theater Camp

Seth got to do a week of theater camp with one of the awesome (home from college for the summer) young women in our ward. He loved her and loved the class (mostly--he really loved the snacks, though). At the end of the week the families were invited to come watch the show.

Catherine is SO excited to watch the show.
Also, Aaron's foot.

Lining up for his part.
The play was about jungle animals--thus, the hat.

Saying his name.
Three times (he wouldn't stand up straight).

Dancing and singing

Delivering his line without prompts.

He had a great time and loved the songs. Well, except the butterfly song, which is "for girls". He expressed his discontent with the song by walking with slumped shoulders instead of fluttering around in a circle. He also spent a big portion of the play messing with a stick he found on the ground. If only the play had involved zombies and killing things instead...

Isn't it an amazing buzz to watch your kid perform?
