With Jon traveling for work, we quickly ran out of potential beach weekends this summer. Just before school started, we decided we needed to go. We joined forces with the Knoxes (always!) and headed to Delaware for the day.
Beach Princess
Seth still spends most of his beach time in the sand.
Catherine enjoys the sand as well, but prefers jumping in the waves with Daddy.
Elise's first beach day, and her six month birthday, all in one day!
Aaron did not like the sand.
Or the water.
He stayed under the pavilion and ate food.
He also enjoyed pestering Luke.

She also started this weird head-rearing thing while we were there.

Not pictured: me taking the kids out on a giant inner tube (super fun, even for Aaron), but then dumping them on the sand when a wave hit us near the shore (traumatizing). Aaron and Catherine forgave me eventually, and even ventured back out on the tube.
It was a lovely way to spend our last weekend before school started up again!
