Summer in Maryland isn't complete without a trip to Hammerman. I was a little nervous to go since summertime is prime time for busloads of day camp/care kids to arrive and "borrow" all your sand toys, but we lucked out. The weather was perfect, the beach wasn't crowded, and no buses arrived. Marley and I planned to leave right before lunch but ended up staying until around 2 because the kids were all having so much fun.

Elise is quite the beach baby. I love it!
We still haven't made it to a real beach yet this year, but my kids are content with Hammerman so far!
