In 2017 we:
-celebrated 10 years in Maryland
-survived Jon teaching 6 a.m. seminary
-went back to homeschooling
-broke one arm (Elise)
-totaled one van
-drove from coast to (almost) coast for a six week vacation to AZ
-began speech therapy (Aaron)
-had a change in job (Jon) and calling (me, after 7 years as Primary chorister)
-played way more Minecraft and Roblox than we should (mostly Seth)
-checked out close to 1,000 books from the library
-lost many, many teeth (Seth & Catherine)
-mastered screaming as an effective method of getting her way all the time (Elise)
-visited Assateague Island
-began 4th grade (Seth), 1st grade (Catherine), and preschool (Aaron)
-grew our first real garden
-joined swim team (Seth)
-made friends with every bug stumbled upon (Catherine)
-threw rocks at every cactus (Aaron)
We are grateful for all our wonderful friends and family. Hoping 2018 treats you all well!

A very eventful year!
I hope 2018 is full of even more excitement! Maybe not any more car crashes. But lots of bugs and rocks and books. :)
