Mom spoiled us this year by getting the girls matinee tickets to see The Nutcracker.
Kenna opted to stay home, saying that she'd "rather give birth than sit through a ballet."
Obviously she's never given birth.
So Mom, Marah, Beth, Catherine & I headed to Tucson for the show.
Four girls and a Nutcracker
Grandma Cathy & Princess Catherine
The ballet was beautiful (although the first scene at the Christmas party took WAY too long). Catherine did remarkably well, all things considered. She loved the dancing snowflakes and the Russian dancing. The rest of the performance we kept her quiet by shoveling snacks in her mouth.
Now that she's been to a ballet, Catherine is quite the cultured young lady:
Aunt Lori's glasses really accentuate her newfound depth and maturity.
And despite what it looked like in the previous post, we didn't actually EAT Beth's cake until the next day:
And this time I have on makeup.
(Thank you, Nutcracker).
And now for cute pictures of my children:
You're welcome.
