Winterhaven

On December 19th, we made our annual (or bi-annual for those of us who swap holidays with the in-laws) trip to Winterhaven to see the Christmas lights.  It was WAY past our kids' Maryland bedtimes, so I was a bit nervous, but they did pretty well.

Seth refused to walk--he insisted on riding in the stroller.

Catherine, on the other hand, refused to ride.
She insisted on walking in Jon's arms.
As you can tell from this picture, Winterhaven was a huge hit with Catherine.
"Save me!"

Marah, Kenna, Brian , Camo, & Jon the photo bomber

Seth (along with every other kid in attendance) was fascinated by the fake snow blowing at one home.

He couldn't stop watching the snow even long enough for a picture with Mom.
Yep, once again--no makeup.

Seth and his grandparents.
Believe me--this was the best shot.

By the end Seth just wanted to lay in the stoller while we walked.

Kenna, Brian & Camo.
Walking through the crowds with them was VERY entertaining.
People were either asking to touch/take a picture of Camo,
or they were picking up their small children and dogs in terror.
Also, there was a lot of foul language (as in 'look at that big !((^$!)$*@)# dog!')

The Mikesells take on Winterhaven.
Seth is uncooperatively laying in his stroller.

Tired babies ready to go home.

There was one awesome house with fountains and lights synced to music.  Seriously amazing.
Both kids were totally entranced, despite their exhaustion.
Seth showed his appreciation by asking question after question.
Catherine showed hers by gnawing on the lighted rope fence.

Then it was back to the car for hot cocoa.
Then back in Winterhaven for the stroller we forgot (don't worry--we had both kids).
Then home.
