We flew out to Tucson early (the 10th--or rather, the 11th, thanks to AirTran) because we had to leave on the 26th to be home for Aaron's wedding in DC on the 30th. So we spent a lot of time just hanging out, enjoying having nothing to do.
Here's Seth enjoying some of Grandpa's birthday cocoa:
And Catherine, trying to seriously injure herself by either pulling a stool down on herself, or cracking her head open on the tile floor. Either way, I was a very paranoid mother:
Jon really, really enjoyed the hayride around the neighborhood.
Really.
(Well, Seth had a great time!)
Eventually Kenna & Brian decided to show up (just in time for their first anniversary)!
They brought their iPhones and took pictures of my beautiful baby girl:
Princess & Uncle Brian.
And this picture was definitely not taken in the chapel of the church.
On Sunday.
During sacrament meeting (but not the sacrament).
Obviously I was totally unaware of this sacrilege, but these are still really cute pictures.
(Kenna & Brian, you are such apostates)
;)
Seth LOVES Uncle Brian:
And Aunt Kenna:
And Kenna & Brian brought something very, very exciting with them from Texas:
A horse.
Okay, Camo is a mastiff, but still!
He made a fantastic noble steed for the Beautiful Princess.
It didn't matter how often I saw this dog.
I never got used to the sheer massiveness of his head.
Good thing he was such a sweetheart, because he was (quite literally) twice my size.
