Elise was so sick on her birthday that we had to cancel her party and reschedule for a couple of weeks later. She was heartbroken, but also too miserable to do much complaining. We did have to put up with the agonizing wait until the new party date, though! She decided to go with a cactus theme for her invitations and cake.

As usual, Elise's birthday party involved inviting every single person she knows over to our house for an array of her favorite activities. First up was a scavenger hunt organized by Jon.
