Go Karts

For Christmas recently we've been giving our kids experiences instead of 'stuff.' Elijah's gift was an afternoon at the go-kart track. Since the weather was finally nice (and since it was almost his birthday), we decided to go!

Aaron was big enough to drive his own car.

His face is a good indicator of the general anxiety this caused. 

This is Catherine's normal look now.

I think her face might be stuck like this permanently. 

Seth and his giant hair also got their own car.

(Jon was there too. We swapped out which little we had in our cars). 

The course was surprisingly fun for how small it was. You could get going decently fast and there wasn't anything to prevent you from running into the other cars. Jon still managed to win almost every time (shocker), but we gave him some decent competition. 

Apparently go-karts are exhausting. 

At least for the middle row gang!
